ADAMS-based three-dimensional virtual reconstruction of the road and ride simulation

Road roughness is the main motivation driving cars, the main driving performance of the car has a direct impact, is the vehicle chassis components of the wear, fatigue failure of the main external factors. Therefore, the road input model for analysis of the accuracy performance of the car has a fundamental impact. Vehicle model to simulate actual driving conditions of the vehicle simulation analysis, how to get the road traffic information, the study accurately reflect the actual road, a reasonable road input model in the software to reproduce the true three-dimensional model of the virtual path to beSimulation of the key problems. In this paper, 863 projects, based on the measured roughness data vehicle to achieve ADAMS virtual prototyping software-based three-dimensional virtual reconstruction of the road, and realized the vehicle ride comfort simulation analysis. First for FTire model, using experimental methods to obtain the required parameters of the model, tire model is created in ADAMS. Secondly, the road roughness of the performance in the form of ADAMS, combined FTire model, proposed a new rule-based Grid Regular Grid Road (referred to as RGR) a combination of roads, and the use of an equivalent volume of three-dimensional road model, taking into account the Road shape changes, building a virtual road. Application of MATLAB language and compiled with the ADAMS model generation road interface procedures, the three-dimensional virtual reconstruction of the road. Applications Microsoft Visual C (referred to as VC) to achieve a mixture with the MATLAB Compiler to create the generated road model applications. Facilitates the direct application of the user to build needed road model, but also the software for a future way ADAMS spectrum database provides an effective way. Section of the road and three-dimensional virtual statistical properties of the data were compared with the actual path of spectrum analysis and verification of the accuracy of three-dimensional virtual road. ADAMS, established under the virtual prototype model to simulate and analyze the response of the system verify the validity of the model.

Key words: road roughness, FTire, three-dimensional virtual road reconstruction, power spectrum
