MapX control based on GPS and vehicle monitoring system

As China's economic development and urban transport, car travel gradually become the main means of transport. However, the increase in car ownership, making the city's traffic congestion is getting worse. In order to solve the problem of urban traffic congestion to the use of advanced technology vehicles and reasonable means of scheduling and allocation. In this paper, MapX component for the geographic information system platform, a vehicle based on MapX and GPS monitoring system, combined with electronic map complete vehicle monitoring, scheduling, command and management to improve vehicle efficiency and management efficiency, and can realize the vehicle alarm, communications and other functions. This paper introduces the research background and significance of the development of related industries at home and abroad and the status quo, concise introduction to the issues involved in the relevant technology and implementation. Then introduced the GPS positioning technology and GIS systems composition principle, MapX component technology, and radio communications technology and other related technologies. Then introduced the vehicle monitoring system design and MapX and GPS-based vehicle monitoring system implementation. This article focuses on the implementation of vehicle monitoring system and electronic map production methods, including: electronic map production, the main control center system interface design, Hawkeye made the map, update the display of vehicles and the historical tracks of playback, and GSM and the choice of SMS communication. Which system software is designed with VB code, the use of VB's controls production; in this system and the GPS monitoring center through GSM communication between the network to achieve. The article also carried out the design of the vehicle information database, the database is mainly used to store data and track the vehicle and the vehicle driver information, basic information, we use Microsoft SQL Server2000 development of the database. Finally, on the basis of the above theoretical and MapX complete GPS-based vehicle monitoring system controls the overall design.And make a real vehicle experiments, the experimental results are analyzed.
